Steel, np, i work in a restaurant n most of the international ppl are shocked at the large portions. While there are smaller items on the menu there are some that could feed two starving people. And most restaurants are like that. General rule of thumb, order something you know is goodsized and eat half, save the other half for dinner later. |

LOL. Next to our table, there was a guy that order a steak ... around 40 centimeters (14" or so). It was quite red in the middle :D Before we left the restaurant he managed to finish it ^^ |

I don't mean to offend americans. It's just in accordance with the media picture we get over her in Europe. |

We have some of these american steakhouses here in Sweden and I don't think they serve as large portions because everybody seems to clean the plate...
Maybe there's a reason americans are getting bigger?? ;-) |

Great to hear you had a good time Squall. I am sorry to hear that you were not able to purchase the computer you were looking for but at least you found something you wanted and could use. Nice to see you also are using RAID 0 with your PC. I see you opted for speed over reliability. That is the one good thing about using RAID the option between increased speed or reliability. Switching over to your good fortune finding a really good steakhouse with really large portions was pretty lucky on your part Squall. Great choice to dine there for an all American traditional steak restaurant. I do have to agree with Gswd and Sherwood that I have been know to "clean" a few plates myself. lol It sounds like you managed to enjoy the rest of your time in Florida even if you didn't get to spend as much time at the beach as you would have liked to. But at least you managed to visit Cocoa Beach and that is better than nothing. Plus you also were able to enjoy the swimming pool at the hotel and it wasn't overly crowded. Your trip to 'Sea World' sounds like it was filled with excitement to say the least Squall. I can hardly believe that for your very first roller-coaster experience you decided to go with a suspended one. Talk about jumping on full throttle. On the plus side your survived your experience on an adrenaline packed ride. At least you didn't eat a large meal before your ride. lol Well it is great you're safely back home and back here with us again. I have been fairly busy as of late so I haven't been around as much. I am still looking forward to swapping with you Squall and since I am only missing the Batman Vectors the new set released today. So if Sherwood is right they should release 2 additional sets tomorrow bringing the total I am missing to 3 so once I have one of the new sets I will offer a swap with you. I just have to make certain that I do not have the exact same icon set you have but one that you do not currently have in your collection. I will do my best to try and swap with you Squall. |

At night - only swimming at the pool. It was very pleasant without the sun and so quite - just 3-4 people at the pool. Well I'm married, so I had to behave :D I'm from Bulgaria - somewhere around Black Sea ^^ |

In the weekend we visited 'Sea World' - and that was quite an adrenaline. The first thing I got was 'Manta' roller-coaster. And believe or not this was my first time on roller-coaster. I expected to sit down - but what a surprise - your body faces down ... and then the show BEGINS. In the end the I was so scared so I had to close my eyes :( |

Yeppers! I don't think I ever leave Longhorn without cleaning the plate. I know my parents have a tendency to eat half and take the other half home for lunch/dinner the next day. So Squall, do you happen to remember which beach you did visit for that hour? If you were in Orlando, you probably came over to Cocoa Beach (my neck of the woods). And if you think Cocoa Beach was warm, Miami is about 5 degrees warmer usually, Daytona 5 degrees cooler. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Someday I hope to be a world traveler again, and get to see some of the places I visited before, and also see some new places (like Japan - I really want to go there). |

I had a chance to visit the beach - for only 1 hour. The water was so hot - this Gulfstream is wonderful to have it the whole year :) But the beach was far, so the swimming pool at the hotel was good substitute :D |

Florida is really nice place - I like the palms all around - so beatifull. The food wasn't so expensive as I expected. They told me that if you want American food - try some of the beef steaks in steakhouses. So I visited 'Longhorn Steakhouse' - but they give so MUCH food ... I wonder can somebody eat the whole plate? |

I didn't buy a computer because I found only CompUSA, but they didn't want to deliver at the hotel and they didn't have in store. BUT I bought two SSD 32GB very cheap (for SSD) and made a Raid 0 - the speed is incredible. Just to compare - Windows boots 2 times faster :D |
