Leoon, on the Cartoons that you have made for your team, IS can post the nickname on that uses here on the blog for the people know how are they talking, what do you think? (Sorry to post this on the wrong thread...)

i know - everytime i check back they keep getting better. N theres great detail - like the earrings on the lady in the green shirt. Gj

The newly updated art examples header on the Caricature Service is OUTSTANDING!!

Caricatures can be tough on the subject if they are self conscious! My ink sketch caricature from years ago points out that my nose is pretty big (truthfully so!)... I think the IS Examples should include rock stars and movie and sports stars. Perhaps avoid political figures, but Obama just won the Nobel Peace Prize! :^D

:: 2009/10/09 18:18:02
ooo theres more examples up now than before! tho the middle obama one is scary. wouldnt want to run into someone looking like that in a dark alley. n the lady at the bottom is so much better looking than her caricature. Looks like she's suffering a stroke n half her face froze. hopefully she got that caricature on april fools day.

They are IS staffers! :^D Lookin' good, but who's who?! -grin-

jp: Neat! Now which characters are you, leoon, and G? I think I picked out Caro....if she is one and I have bets on the three of you.....Laughing here.

vector based cartoons will be released soon, :) all the characters from our cartoon website are actually iconshock staffers ;) ... always checking your comments guys ! thanks

Any change of vector rather than jpg?

:: 2009/10/04 23:08:32
Hey, Leon, how about some caricatures of some known IconShock staffers?! -grin-

:: 2009/10/04 22:57:12
tho i do like the idea of caricaturizing ppl as a different product available than the standard simplistic avatars thats already out there as a business point. gj.

:: 2009/10/04 22:54:04
theyre cute, n very caricaturish. I've seen plenty of sites that offer to change a pic to avatar n the pic looks nearly alike. While i think caricatures are more creative i personally never liked them because they tend to overemphasize certain physical characteristics on people. Tho I gotta say yours are way WAY cuter than anything drawn on any street corner.

They are so neat, tempted to get one for hubby & I to use as a profile pic here and there.

:: 2009/10/02 10:13:47
leoon, please tell us more my friend! :)

For me I'm thinking in making 2, for me and my wife.

Great idea for the Custom Caricactures from IS! Some other sites offer a free "caricature" generator with no artist involved; it is just a software manipulation of your photo with just contrast and edges enhanced. I've made one of these myself using only the features in MS Photo Editor. The IS caricature service is way beyond what I have ever seen before. :^)

Wow Leoon, that sounds really cool. Can we choose to have our caricature match a particular icon style (For example if I wanted my caricature to be done in the Sophistique style)? That would be an interesting option I think. :)

:: 2009/10/01 15:26:29
Sherwood your idea is great!

:: 2009/10/01 13:54:30
Sweet Leoon, I noticed that at the top of the Home page when I log on, I've seen them before at another site, they make you an icon......is this the same thing? What's the price - LOL - Inquiring minds want to know...Also, could we use it here for our avatar?
