I said my piece at the time and moved on. I'm sure kat (and others) have learned something from the discussion, even if it's something like "Swifty is a miserable ogre". This may be something that we need to capture in the new user tips. If I get a chance today, I'll update that.

yes kat, I know you apologized to Swifty, and I know you didn't know the bottom offer was the first offer made to you since most people start at the top and work their way down instead of starting from the bottom and working their way up, so in all fairness to you Swifty should have kept his comments in the swap offers between the two of you and in all fairness to Swifty, it did happen more than this once. You both are wrong. 2 wrongs doesn't make a right, does it? I'm sure all lessons that could be learned were learned. Time to forgive and forget? Cheers my friends :)

kat, just so you know you should be accepting offers from the bottom of your inbox up, not from the top down, that's the fair way to do it. The one at the bottom is the first swap offer 2 you. It's not a rule it's just polite.

So for you it's not who made the request first, it's who made the request most recently? Yeah, that's fair. (In case you couldn't tell, that was sarcasm.) With that sort of logic, it really doesn't make sense to make you an offer, because it's a crap shoot whether or not someone else will make the same offer later and have theirs accepted.
